Eagles’ Wings Nursing – Making Private Nursing Affordable Again

“Keeping in mind the nature of our industry and the needs of our clientele, we have always opted to keep our services affordable while never compromising on quality. In the healthcare industry, people’s lives are entrusted to us and we can never afford to be even slightly lax in anything we do.” said Eagles’ Wings Nursing’s CEO and Founder, Clara Vanathiah.

Kuala Lumpur, 27 December 2018 – Private nursing and healthcare in Malaysia has been shown in quite a mixed light over the years. On one hand, it is an elegant solution to the problem of caring for older family members, without the need of using the services of old folks homes or nursing homes, something which is quite a taboo topic in Malaysian culture. On the other hand, exorbitant prices and lackadaisical care has given private nursing providers and the industry in general a fair share of infamy and ill repute.

In an effort to combat the general reputation of the private nursing industry, Eagles’ Wings Nursing has striven to provide best-in-industry care at affordable prices.

Eagles’ Wings Nursing is a private healthcare solutions and nursing provider. Their main operations are focused on providing home nursing care via professional nurses and caregivers. They also provide physiotherapy and acupuncture services as well as, more recently, traditional Chinese medicines and treatments such as cupping, scrapping and moxibustion. When asked more about what inspired her to start Eagles’ Wings Nursing, Ms. Clara explained, “What inspired us to get started was the recognizable need of quality nursing care at affordable rates. We wanted to bring a way for families, who could not care for sickly or elderly members of their household (either due to lack of time or healthcare skill), to have their loved ones cared for without having to send them to a nursing home or assisted living center. I myself have been a nurse for over 28 years, and the inspiration to found Eagles’ Wings Nursing came naturally once I spotted this niche.”

The bulk of Eagles’ Wings Nursing’s clientele come from visitors to their website and Facebook page. However there are quite a number of clients who have heard of Eagles’ Wings via word-of-mouth. When asked about Eagles’ Wings Nursing’s future plans and strategies, Head of Finance & Operations, Mr. Tharmaraj Rajandran said, “Eagles’ Wings is looking into the possibility of more collaborations in regards to our future plans. In addition to providing traditional Chinese treatments, we are exploring multiple avenues to grow our repertoire of services. We also aim to expand our reach of providing nursing services well beyond the Klang Valley, perhaps within 5-10 years even expanding regionally.”
